comfort than the Triumph Trophy SE. Developed to compete with the best
sports-tourers of its day, the Trophy combines impressive performance, generous
equipment levels and the characterful three-cylinder engine for which Triumph
has become renowned.
First registered in October 2012, this Trophy SE is
powered by Triumph's superb 1,215cc liquid-cooled inline three-cylinder engine,
producing around 133bhp and delivering a wonderfully broad spread of torque.
Equally at home crossing continents or tackling a favourite B-road, the Trophy
SE offers an excellent balance of performance, comfort and
practicality.
Showing just 4,588 miles from new, this example has covered
remarkably little distance in recent years. Prospective purchasers should note
that it was recorded as a Category C insurance loss on 9th March 2014, having
been deemed repairable but uneconomical for an insurer to repair at the
time.
The motorcycle's last MOT, which was completed without advisories,
expired in October 2016. Since then it is understood to have covered only 21
miles, spending much of the intervening period in dry storage. Pleasingly, the
bike starts readily on the button, as can be seen in the accompanying
video.
As befits the flagship SE model, it is particularly well equipped.

carefully stored, a degree of recommissioning should be expected before
extensive road use, but it appears to offer an excellent basis for a rider
looking to travel the world in comfort and style.
