The classic Morris Mini
remains one of Britain's most iconic cars, admired for its unmistakable styling,
compact dimensions and entertaining driving experience. It continues to enjoy a
loyal following and offers an affordable entry into classic Mini
ownership.
First registered in January
1967, this Morris Mini is recorded as an 850cc model and has had 13 former
keepers, with the current vendor owning it since January 2026. Originally
finished in blue, it was repainted red in July 1993. The vendor advises the car
starts, runs and drives well, and it was demonstrated on site during photography
and filming.
It appears the Mini has been
reshelled at some point in its life using a later bodyshell, and following a
short drive, the engine also feels considerably livelier than a standard 850cc
unit, suggesting it may have been upgraded, although this has not been
verified.
Unfortunately, very little
history accompanies the car, leaving the next owner the opportunity to further
investigate its past. An enjoyable classic with plenty of character, this Mini
offers an excellent basis for continued use and
improvement.
