Believed to
be one of only around 75 examples remaining; engine rebuild 10 years ago with
unleaded head fitted along with twin carbs
A rare opportunity to acquire this 1971 Triumph Herald 13/60 Estate,
believed to be one of only around 75 examples remaining on UK roads
today.
Finished in maroon with a beige leatherette interior, this
charming classic is powered by the 1,296cc engine paired with a 4-speed manual
gearbox and benefits from a rebuilt engine with unleaded cylinder head and twin
carburettors fitted approximately 10 years ago.
Showing 31,660 miles, although this cannot be verified, the car has
recently received significant maintenance including a new radiator, thermostat
and sensor, new brake pads, shoes and wheel cylinders, along with a full
service. The vendor advises the car was driven approximately 75 miles to the
auction and was found to start, run, stop and drive on site.
Further features include attractive Minilite-style wheels and an MOT
valid until November, despite the vehicle being MOT exempt. With 13 former
keepers recorded and a previous colour change from green, the car presents well
overall, although some cosmetic bodywork improvements may be desired in the
future. A usable and increasingly rare British classic offered with plenty of
character.
