Mercedes-Benz SL 320; Green/Black; AMG alloy wheels; fully
stamped in the service book; hard top and soft top 180,927
miles
This Mercedes-Benz SL 320, finished in
striking Green/Black metallic paintwork which benefitting from an impressive
specification along with long-term ownership history. This example has had just
six former keepers and has been with its current owner since May
2015.
Powered by the refined 3,199cc V6 engine,
this SL delivers smooth, effortless performance combined with the renowned build
quality Mercedes-Benz is known for. AMG enhancements include distinctive AMG
badging and AMG alloy wheels, adding to its presence and
desirability.
The interior is trimmed in cream
leather and features the desirable rear seat pack, creating a luxurious and
comfortable cabin. Specification includes electrically adjustable seats with
memory function, heated front seats, an anti-glare rear-view mirror, metallic
paintwork, and a period-correct radio/cassette system with CD
changer.
The vehicle is currently fitted with its
hard top and also comes with the soft top, which will require some attention.
The soft top canvas remains in excellent condition; however, there is a cracked
Perspex section on one quarter window.
One hydraulic ram is leaking,
which currently prevents full automatic operation, though a seal kit is included
in the sale. The roof can still be operated manually, and the current owner has
primarily used the hard top during winter, removing it for summer
use.
This SL has been well cared for throughout
its life and has always been garaged.
Approximately ten years ago, it was
driven to the Balearic Islands, where it remained until being driven back to the
UK in October last year. At its recent MOT, only minor items were required,
including a wiper blade, ABS ring, bulbs, and a ball joint cover. These have all
since been addressed, along with all advisories except for two rear
tyres.
It benefits from a comprehensive service
history, with the last service completed in Spain at 178,000 miles and fully
stamped in the service book. The car is supplied with its original books,
extensive service records, all previous MOT certificates, and even the original
factory build sheet, making this a particularly well-documented and collectible
example.
As expected for a vehicle of this age
and mileage, there are some age-related marks around the bodywork, and the wheel
arches are beginning to show signs of corrosion. However, this does not detract
from the car’s overall appearance.
A
well-specified, factory AMG Limited Edition SL 320 with strong provenance,
long-term ownership, and excellent history—offering an appealing opportunity for
enthusiasts and collectors alike.
