Fabulous half-scale copy of a 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 race
car; aluminium bodywork; pneumatic tyres; made by one of the top craftsmen in
this specialised field; absolutely gorgeous!
This stunning Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza pedal car was made by one
of the most renowned craftsmen in this very specialised market niche.
A vintage car enthusiast and restorer, he has built many miniature versions of
exotic cars owned by some very distinguished clients over the years – some
of them intricate ‘tool room’ copies, some just fun playthings for
children.
Features include:
Aluminium bodywork on a steel
chassis
Spoked wire wheels with billet aluminium centre
spinners
Pneumatic tyres
Side-mounted spare wheel
Glass
aero screen with brass frame
Leather bonnet straps
Antique oxblood
leather seats
Corded steering wheel
Leaf-sprung rear suspension
with dummy Andre Hartford shock absorbers
The dimensions are: 69” long x
27” wide x 24” high
As you can see in the photos,
this Alfa is in magnificent condition and while it would make a great gift
for a child, we think it deserves rather better than that and would be a real
talking point in any cocktail bar or gentleman’s outfitters. Or just a wonderful
ornament to grace your man cave...
