This 1978 Rolls-Royce
Silver Wraith was first registered in August 1978. This vehicle has been in the
same ownership for the past 11 years (since 14/12/2015) and has clearly been
maintained with care throughout that time.
The
car is fitted with a 6,750cc engine and automatic transmission, and is finished
in brown/beige with a beige leather interior. It is showing 113,408 miles and
has had 9 former keepers. The MOT expired in March 2025; however, the vehicle is
now MOT exempt due to its age. It also comes with a large collection of receipts
documenting work carried out over the years, along with 12 old MOT
certificates.
The car starts, drives, and stops
as expected. It was driven approximately 20 miles prior to photography and
performed well during a short video session.
The
bodywork presents well for its age and mileage, with minimal visible rust.
However, it would benefit from some cosmetic attention. There are areas that
appear to have been previously touched up with spray paint in a slightly darker
brown shade on both sides, as shown in the photos.
Overall, this is a usable classic Rolls-Royce with strong provenance,
extensive documentation, and plenty of character. Ideal for a classic enthusiast
or someone looking to improve and preserve a vintage luxury
vehicle.
