Maintained by Ghost Motors of Kent for the last 25 years; recent major
service including new front brake discs and calipers, new radiator, new
exhaust, electronic ignition, air con regas etc; very smart indeed

registered in September 1976, this late model Shadow 1 appears to have had just
one owner from 1986 – 2022, according to Experian. Although there is no service
book, there are various invoices back to 1998 since when it has always been
looked after by Ghost Motors of Lewisham. There is also a purchase invoice from
Ghost Motors who sold the car in May 2022 for £27,000 when it was showing 93,539
miles, a total which has since risen to 99,228 miles.
Immediately before selling the car, Ghost Motors treated it to a
major service with many new parts fitted including a new exhaust system; new
engine drive belts; new radiator; new front brake discs and calipers; new front
and rear high pressure pipes; electronic ignition; exchange accumulators; air
con regas; wax oil treatment plus much else besides. Another invoice shows that
the car had previously been converted to run on unleaded fuel.
Twelve old MOTs chart the gradual accumulation
of mileage since 1985 (when it had covered 52,000 miles), the current MOT
running until April 2023 with no advisories recorded.
As you can see in the photos, the car looks very smart indeed and
has been starting promptly and running beautifully as we have moved it around on
site. With so much recent work carried out, it looks mighty tempting at the
sensible guide price suggested.
