2005 Jaguar XJ Executive TDVi (X350)

Supplied new by Guy Salmon Jaguar Ltd of Surrey in November 2005 this smart X350 generation of Jaguar XJ comes to us finished in Indigo blue metallic (JJX)  and sits upon its original 18” 15-spoke alloy wheels shod in decent Continental tyres.

Under the long traditional bonnet we find the 2.7-litre twin-turbo charged V6 diesel engine which develops 201bhp and 435NM of torque offering superb cruising ability with punchy torque and excellent economy, an engine widely used in various JLR vehicles and a popular choice.  Drive is to the rear wheels via six-speed automatic transmission selected via the traditional J-gate.

Inside the capacious and comfortable cabin, we find cream leather interior with electric front seats, driver memory, heated front seats, traditional walnut trim, touch-screen in-car entertainment and climate control with navigation, radio/CD player with boot mounted changer and rear ventilation with 12v socket, automatic lights, trip computer, parking sensors, electric windows and mirrors.

The car shows 97,033 miles and has been with our vendor for the last six and half years with just two former keepers.  The history file includes the owner’s pack and service book recording nine stamps plus one hand-written entry, the last in January-22 (stamped) at 95,203 miles.  In addition, the file also includes the Tracker pack, four old MOTs and a selection of bills for parts and maintenance including a timing belt service in April 2018 by S&C Motors Land Rover specialists and a new alternator in January 2019 along with the current MOT valid until January 2023 showing three minor advisories (enter the reg at check-mot.service.gov.uk).
