 1967 MG Midget MkIII

Restored in 1999; excellent weather equipment; much recent care and attention

This smart MkIII Midget was acquired privately by the vendor in 2018, its bright appearance attracting him to the car.

It was comprehensively restored in 1999, with bills on file listing the numerous parts involved. The end result has faired well, the car remaining in sound order and showing few signs of wear and tear.

The vendor has subsequently gone through the car in detail, giving it a rear brake overhaul, fitting a new fuel pump along with regular servicing. Bills for minor parts show that it has improved during his ownership, and MG specialists have resolved a few issues with the car which were not to his satisfaction.

It comes with a very good hood - little used we suspect, tonneau cover and hood cover. The interior has MG mats and retains its original three spoke, sprung steering wheel - rare to see on a Midget these days.

Fun to drive, easy to manage and cheap to own, Classic motoring doesn't get much easier than in a Midget, this early MkIII representing perhaps the best model of the breed.
